Truly enjoyed this love story. It wasn't the typical thug guy hoes around then finds the love of his life but continues to hoe around asking for forgiveness. The two main characters, Dashuan and Kaliyah were destined to be together since babies unbeknownst to them. I shed tears reading how her mom treated her and I cheered we she ran away. This was true love that was destined to be no matter the obstacles. I hoped K received her high school diploma. She earned it with straight A's up until the last few weeks of her senior year.
Good read so glad kaliyah and grim for their happily ever after and that sorry excuse for a mother tuts for what she deserved and Goldie, God I couldn't stand that tramp. I'm glad grims snake daddy got what he deserved also, I just knew the reason for his mother's unhappiness was because of him, great ending.
Great book!!!! Glad Grim survived and forgave Kaliyah, he knew she didn't mean to hurt him. Then to hear Goldie say she did it, pissed him off even more. At first I thought Grim was gonna kill his mom and Kaliyah due to the hold his dad had on him, but he surprised me. His dad was messed up in the head, he let greed and jealousy rule him. I didn't think Grim could kill his pops but I'm glad he did or he would have killed him. Goldie and Tuts both got what they deserved, blaming Kaliyah for their misfortunes. Great book and ending...
This book was crazy! I couldn't stand Goldie! She made me so sick. She had no respect for herself. I was shocked by how many she went through thinking she was making Grim jealous! I love Grim! That man was something else. He was a good dude. I felt so bad for the things Kaliyah went through. It was like she just couldn't catch a break. Grim came into her life and helped make things better. They were definitely destined to cross paths. I was shocked by so many of the secrets that were revealed. Patt was foul for all the things he did. Who would have thought that he would turn out to be a snake. I was nervous about how things were going to end, but I must say I was pleased with the ending.
Ladies and gentlemen, hurry up and get your copy. If your looking for a captivating story with minimal to no grammatical errors Kelly Marie is the author for you. Job well done once again! I'm already anticipating your next book. Maybe you could write a spin off from the crew so we could get updates on Grim and Kaliyah or a Kymani spin off. Either one would work for me.
